CL POL [SENSITIVE CONTENT] no lleva ni un mes como presidente de Chile pero llega a ser caricaturesco lo que ha hecho en el gobierno. Hay cosas en que se ha equivocado (como las de subir la bencina sacando los subsidios) decir que el país quebró (cuando no es así y con las consecuencias que eso puede tener, y ya cosas derechamente viles como poner a una tertuliana de programa de política en vocería de gobierno y evangélicos en ministerio de cultura y de la mujer. Creo que es un buen resumen de lo que ha sido menos de un mes de gobierno para la gente de afuera.

    I'm not a political activist; however, first of all, I declare myself as antifascist.

    Today a left-wing activist was found badly hurt and tied by the side of a highway in Santiago, with written messages in his arms saying "VIVA KAST" ("Long live Kast", the new far-right president of Chile, who assumed the precidency yesterday) and "NO+ZURDOS" ("no more leftists"). He is in an induced coma and in critical condition.

    This situation isn't common in Chile, at least since the return of democracy after Pinochet's dictatorship in 1990. This is the first time a far-right person becomes president in 36 years.

    The day after, we wake up with this news. I see this as a precedent for what's coming for us as a society over the next 4 years.

    The far right is regression, it is violence and above all it is fascism. Wish us luck and peace; the whole western world is suffering the same desease and we can't be quiet nor silenced.

            Ayer vi un trozo del y la verdad fue bien desastroso y caótico (por ambas partes). En un punto no pude seguir viendo y la cambié. Hay una nota de fast check donde vi que exageró en general las cifras.
